Flash Forward Conference 2007 Boston

So, Flash Forward was a great time. I had some of my graphics up for a Rich Shupe session--AS 3 for designers. Although it was way over my head still, I got a kick out of seeing my character up on big screen in front of a packed session.

I was able to hang out with some cool folks Chris Georgenes, Colin Smith, David Stiller, and tons of other Flashers. Check out Chris' photos... I look forward to next year where I hopefully will have my short ready for entry.

New Facelift

The ricecooker has had a bit of a facelift. This is in preparation to Flash Forward coming up on the 19th... and mainly to simplify the home page.

I guess now I actually have to finish the short...

Graphics Flash Forward 2007 Boston

So Keyframer, Chris Georgenes, received an email from a buddy of his, Rich Shupe of FMA online. Rich needs graphics for the session he is running in Boston at Flash Forward. Rich's session is called 'ActionScript 3 for Designers'. This might be right up my alley. Chris sent some great words of recommendation to Rich Shupe about my skills and I ended up doing some graphics for Rich to use... It will be cool to see my work projected on the big screen...

I will be in Boston from the 19th-21st of September...

Pnoy Apparel

Since the launching of the BARRIORS site and myspace page, I have had a lot of positive feedback.

Pnoy Apparel contacted me through myspace to do a comic for their newsletter for their June 29 launch of their new website. This is what came out of my head. I will be doing at least one more for them... We'll see how the relationship evolves...

Barriors.com is up and running...

After a couple of late nights, Barriors online is now up and running. I have been developing Barriors for a while now. But after a couple of late evening pushes, I now have a comic website.

It is just launched, so there is plenty I still want to do... But it is in a stage where I am happy for others to look at it.

Colleague Roasts

So at work(my day job) to help keep moral up, we do a visual roast of each other. Someone pulls a name out of the hat and we roast 'em every other week.

My way of roasting is to 'toon' em.

A DAM is a Digital Asset Manager... Henrik's work has revolved around the DAM for the past several months.

So I am looking at Nerd Fury similar to Ricetoons...

This one is the same size at a Ricetoon, but I want to allow the flexibility to turn them into two or three panel comics...
